Week 12

So, Liz has been sleeping a lot. I mean a lot. She's suffered a couple bad headaches. No nausea whatsoever. She's gained 4 lbs. but to hear her talk about it you'd think she's gained 80.

Ultrasound was done this past Friday and all is well. Little baby did some moving around for us which was pretty exciting. She is just starting to show and is much more agreeable due to an influx of larger dresses into her wardrobe.

Next ultrasound is on May 22nd.

And YES we are going to learn the sex of the baby. She wins...this time.

Next post to have some photos. Thanks for sticking around. Liz says she'll update more frequently. She should be able to stay awake for more than 20 minutes soon.

  5. So so so very glad to hear all is well with everyone...especially the mommy-to-be!!! Sleeping just means that mommy and baby are doing what they should be doing. Take advantage of the sleep now cause once the baby is here, rest is definitely not at the top of the priority list!

Excited to hear the decision and support your choices no matter what...the best advice my OBGYN gave me was to "ignore everyone else and listen to yourself and your husband." You will know what is best!!!

Can't wait to see the pics...and ultrasound (if you are sharing!). Hopefully we will see you all next week.

    Lots of love,
    Sandra, Phil, & Tanner

  6. Hang in there Liz! You should start feeling a little more vibrant in the next few weeks. The first trimester is exhausting! So glad to hear all is well and it must have been so exciting to see the babe move. Can't wait to see the pics and am so very excited I (LOL) don't have to wait to find out the sex until birth. Great decision...

    xoxoxo, Erin
